About This Special Issue
The intermittent nature of renewable energy poses a significant challenge to the balance between energy supply and demand, and thermal energy storage technologies offer an effective solution to this problem. Among these, phase-change energy storage and thermochemical energy storage have attracted considerable attention due to their high energy storage density, making them current research hotspots. This special issue aims to bring together cutting-edge achievements in this field and promote the deep integration of basic research with applied demonstrations.
We cordially invite submissions of original research papers, review articles and case studies. Through this special issue, we aim to highlight the latest developments, identify key challenges and provide guidance for future research. We warmly invite researchers from a range of disciplines to contribute their insights, so that together we may advance this technology from the laboratory to practical application.
